Advanced Educational Training is committed to providing a broad range of
thought provoking distance learning courses incorporating diverse perspectives
by experts in the field of Social Work. Our continued offerings will instill a
heightened awareness of the importance of the moral obligations of the social
worker and to motivate them to provide the highest level of service to those in
need of assistance.
Our Marketing efforts will be frank and honest, and follow our ethical code to
be informative without being misleading, and will serve only as a means to let
potential customers know our product is available.
Our instructors will be required to state and meet learning objectives, and
clearly convey the skills, knowledge, and competencies that will help social
workers comprehend the benefits of their thoughts and actions.
Our core belief is that learning should be a fun and rewarding experience that
can empower social workers to become problem solvers.
|
Our main goals are to offer continuing education units
to social workers that are:
-
Applicable
- We only hire writers with expertise in their particular field, who are
credentialed as experts to write on subject matters appropriate for social
workers. Each author who submits written proposals for courses goes through an
extensive background check to ensure they meet our high standards.
-
Thought provoking
- Each course will encourage critical thinking which will require course
participants to consider how their learning will affect their practices or how
it sheds light on the difficulties their patients and clients face in their
everyday lives.
-
Affordable
- We will try to offer great value for our courses, our prices will be
competitive, and social workers will get quality instruction at reasonable
prices.
-
Easy to understand
- Our courses are presented on the web by experts in both technology and
distance education. Each author's submission of content will be tailored for
and formatted specifically for learning on the web.
-
Easy to use
- Our site will be accessible and easy to use for everyone. We keep a database
of records that all social workers can access their records at any time, making
record keeping easier.
-
Risk Free
- We do not charge the user for the course until after they have completed
their training and are satisfied with their learning. If a user takes a course
and is not satisfied, they do not have to pay for it.
-
Quality Material - A course is not offered to the end user until it has
been field tested by a panel of social workers with varying levels of
experience, and been reviewed and approved by our Educational Advisory Board
members, Social Work Consultant, and Continuing Education Director. We only
offer courses to users that have passed our stringent quality standards, meet
Best Practices Standards, and have been submitted and approved by the
appropriate accrediting agencies.
